ARGUMENTA

Welcome

The Tampere Club is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation. Its registered office is in Tampere, Finland, but the Club serves as a forum for discussion and initiatives on a global scale. Membership is exclusively by invitation. Leading figures in philosophy, the social sciences, economics, the arts and politics have been invited to become members of the Tampere Club.

The purpose of the Tampere Club is to promote more profound understanding of our modern, multicultural information society, including the identification of its risks and potentials. To accomplish this task, the Club offers an annual meeting place for its members from all over the world. The Tampere Club provides a first-rate international forum to discuss ideas, the elaboration and dissemination of proposals on pressing problems and urgent questions of the development of political structures and institutions in general, and democracy in particular, on a global scale.

Please follow the links on the left to learn more about the Tampere Club organisation and its activities, or to contact the organisation.
